The part of our program we're strictest about

Thirteen safeguards

How we keep every child safe

  • Secure Entrances

Every exterior door is keypad-controlled with unique parent codes and full audit logging. The vestibule is staffed from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

  • Camera Monitoring

48 HD cameras cover all classrooms, hallways, and playgrounds with 30-day encrypted retention. Directors review footage on request.

  • Background-Checked Employees

FBI fingerprinting, state registry checks, motor vehicle records, and reference verification before day one — re-run every two years.

  • CPR & First Aid Certified

100% of teaching staff hold current pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED certification. Two AED units are on site.

  • Emergency Action Plans

Written, drilled plans for fire, lockdown, severe weather, medical emergency, and evacuation to our partner site four blocks away.

  • Cleaning Procedures

Hospital-grade, child-safe disinfectants; toys sanitized daily; classrooms deep-cleaned nightly; HEPA filtration in every room.

  • Daily Health Screenings

Temperature and wellness check at drop-off, logged digitally and visible to parents in the portal.

  • Visitor Management

Photo ID scan, badge printing, and staff escort for every visitor. Only authorized pickups listed in your file may sign out a child.

  • Fire Safety

Monthly fire drills, quarterly extinguisher inspection, sprinklered building, and annual fire marshal certification.

  • Disaster Preparedness

72-hour supply of water, food, diapers, and medication, plus a satellite text system to reach families if cell networks fail.

  • Medication Policies

Locked storage, dual-signature administration, and a photo-logged record delivered to you the moment a dose is given.

  • Illness Procedures

Clear exclusion guidelines, a comfortable care room, and same-hour notification so you are never surprised at pickup.

  • Security Systems

Monitored alarm, glass-break sensors, exterior lighting, and a direct line to Brightwater PD.
